It would not surprise me if Ripple knew who Satoshi is, I do not know everything, but I do know Bitcoin was a way to introduce the masses to digital economy with the illusion of it being on their own terms. "Fight the power" and all of that made bitcoin very popular, it was a successful psyop. Bitcoin was the first trojan horse for the digital economy.
