You're fine, the vernacular brokers choose to use is pretty obfuscated. Just make sure to not day trade more than three times in a rolling five-day period and you'll be fine. Also, make sure you have the funds available in a settlement fund of some sort. Otherwise, you get hit with a free ride violation. It takes a minute to understand but once you do you're golden.
