If there have ever been "Golden Ages" in which humanity did not suffer tremendously, they have been few, far between, and short-lived. Most of humanity for most of history would look at your life as an improvement on theirs.. And yet people have always been able to carve out a slice of happiness for themselves and those around them. The first and most important thing you must realize is that your happiness is FAR more dependent on the way you process your experience than on your circumstances.

You CAN learn to turn on the bliss switch. The human brain is trainable and adaptable. You can train your nervous system to find happiness.
