I'm not trying to be mean, anon. But you can calculate probabilities on limited risk/limited reward spreads. The credit and debit spreads don't win over time, even with something highly liquid like SPY. Bearish positions (over the general market) don't win over time either. You can use your knowledge of spreads to gauge market sentiment by checking the large orders on SPY (check the time and date placed, figure out the spread type). There will be key strikes targeted. You'll need a better broker than RH. But you're better off going long and using deep ITM/deep expiration calls for to create synthetic shares at 2x to 3x leverage. Just some friendly advice. And hopefully you're maxing out your 401k and IRA before putting any money into your individual account.
