and no theyre much less safe than US treasuries which are the safest type of fixed income. large specs were shorting down long bonds this week to price in rate hike and load up (which they did on friday). see pic, some fag bought $450M of TLT on friday. my bet is that he was only a medium spec. the bigger guys are doing it w futures and foreign central banks are prolly buying billion dollar lots of the bonds themselves

take a look at my lv1 on TLT at close
thats around $450M of shares bought at 4PM EST yesterday. similar things were happening on closing bell on it all week. i waited for the jobs report to come out as i anticipated that yields would spike on the jobs report. they did, and now that the bonds are "priced in" for another rate hike, the stage is set for an inversion. its only a matter of when desu. id imagine it will happen sometime after this upcoming rate hike.

i cant be bothered to find single stocks and im lazy so i always just go for ETFs desu. but try scoping out somethin in that sector

it may pull back in the near term, but were clearly in one of those, "oil moons then crashes and crashes the whole market w it" episodes
