Yeah this. The difficulty spiked from journalist to Iraqi surviving the US army, circa 2003. Yeah some people can still beat the game but most can't even come close. Meanwhile most boomers would get a job just by having a pulse and could support a family of 4 with just a high school diploma. Today, you need a master's, CV, video interview, 10 years of experience and 5 different references going into an entry level job for $15/hour and they don't even check your CV before denying you. It's literally about WHO you know and that's it.
