Only a total cretin would short since October 2023. Inflation has been largely handled. m/m inflation is almost on target. Wage increases will be higher this year than inflation. Bobo is finished. Plus the data is, as you said, completely manipulated to provide credence to whatever narrative they are currently pushing.
They need a bull market now so inflationary data will be good.
