He spent years working his ass off to teach himself how to code and create one of the most revolutionary pieces of technology in the 21'st century, if you're lucky enough to get in this low he's making you rich, not the other way around you lazy fuck.

Imagine not realizing that every day the clock is ticking - *tick tock* *tick tock*.
Do you hear it anon? Does it scare you? That's the countdown to Casper+Sharding release. That's the countdown to $2000 per ETH, minimum. Yes, it's more than a year away, but a few months ago it was even further, and every day your pathetic existence gets closer and closer to the day you will realize Vitalik is your daddy.
*tick tock* anon, *tick tock*

90% of the posts on /biz/ are about shorting ETH, ETH will go below $100, some faggot spamming the delusional cringey Vitalik spider "infographic," ETH will be flipped by XRP, not as useful as ETC, too many ICO scams, etc. Time to, once again, do the EXACT opposite of the retards on /biz/ and make a giant profit off it. Screencap this morons, I'm buying 15 ETH right now, setting a stop-limit order at $600, and enjoying the fact that life is a video game where you can literally double your money based off paying attention to a board full of poor neets and always doing the opposite of what they say.

As an actual engineer, I'm tired of this guy spamming this shit in every thread, so let's break it down.

1. Even if you knew nothing about technology, do you really think Vitalik, the man smart enough to single-handedly create ether, would be retarded enough to propose an upgrade that required 24/7 uptime? Nothing more needs to be said on this one.
2. Voting against the consensus does not cause you to lose your coins. You're literally pulling this out of your ass so there's nothing to dispute.
3. The concept you're referring to is a "1% attack," which everyone knows exists in a shard solution. To avoid this, you randomize which shard you use to validate your transactions, which does slightly decrease transaction speed, but guarantees security and early detection of compromised shards.
4. Leaky smart contract... okay, this is, and always will be, an issue with ANY decentralized platform in existence. The price you pay for decentralization is immutability, meaning whether the contract was written well or poorly, you cannot change it. The only way to eliminate the option for a bad smart contract to fuck you is to centralize the network, if you want that go invest in EOS who literally states in their "constitution" that they have the right to steal your entire supply of coins at any time with no excuse, they will auction off your tokens after 3 years of inactivity, etc. So basically, the alternative is just a digital banking system, in which case crypto doesn't need to exist and the big centralized banks are what you should be looking to put your money into like a baby boomer.
