Another cool sleep trick if you want to autisticly minmax like me is red light bulbs in the late hours. Less subtle so better for personal use, but the red light disrupts your melatonin a lot less. I have cheap £5 party bulbs in my floor lamps that I use for the last hour or two before bed to wind down, my place looks like I'm fucking developing photographs every night. Your fireplace should achieve the same thing desu now i think about it but it's cool info to know.
Also download f.lux if you haven't got it already to auto-filter blue light from your screen in the evening hours coz that shit is nasty at night.

I was at my regular haunt last night and the barmaid told me the manager wants to stop stocking my favourite bourbon because nobody drinks it, but she convinced him to keep getting it because she said this one guy (me) comes in every couple of weeks and drinks half a bottle at a time. I don't know how to feel about that.
