I know the ME is the big news right now, but what does /smg/ think of Country Garden having officially defaulted on its debt this morning? They're the #2 property developer in China right behind Evergrande, legitimately feels like the property sector there's starting to pop.
>Two more weeks
Nah not hysterically suggesting that China's going to collapse, just think their days of using the property sector to buoy growth are at an end. But that's just my opinion, what about ess em gee?

Am I stupid or does NCLH just seem like an obvious buy right now? It's down ~5% in sympathy with CCL but has no news of its own, and CCL itself is only down because of "sell the news" on its earnings beating expectations.

Do these have a chance of returning to their pre-crash highs, or are they basically fucked? My own research seems to indicate that they're only doing poorly due to pisspoor oil demand right now, but I can't find any information on their long-term viability given such currently low demand.

I just had a thought. Insurance companies are going to be taking MASSIVE hits off of all of these riots, right? Time to short?

among other properties. He said the $2 million property generated $60K a year in rent which was a 3% yearly return rate. He figured he could do better.

The general consensus was to sell off the properties. I am making a thread about this because I was initially against this, but thinking about it, aren't housing properties due to crash thanks to Corona-chan? It's unlikely the property would maintain its value over the course of the next couple of years. So yeah, I think I'm horribly wrong and that anon was right.

>Possibility of a buyback
>Stock price will eventually reflect the true value of the business regardless of a potential moon

What's the actual bear argument here? Opportunity cost? The businesses are making money hand over fist, they're not about to fail. The only argument I see is "red line only go down". The markets will return to rationality in time.

Nice trips, but you're half right.

Read more AND do more. For instance, I read Thinking Fast and Slow, but it doesn't click in until you start applying it in real life. I realized its value when I realized how emotional I was when it came to swing trading. I also watched a TED talk on memorization, thought it was pretty cool. But it's a different world when you have a need to use it, like memorizing your seed phrases.

Compound and absorb new ideas from others via reading or watching but realize that this all means nothing until you start ACTING on them.

>Explain how you can't just secretly print some money and give it to the poorest people to help them out.

You can. The Federal Reserve prints out money all the time and do it whenever they damn well feel like it. They could give money away to poor people which would actually stimulate the economy since they actually spend it on things they need unlike bailing out the banks who keep the money to themselves and outside the economy.

But the reason why they would never bail out poor people is because... why should they? What's in it for the government?

I'm in the process of figuring out how staking my nodes anon. I'm sure learning how to do it is easy, but the real issue is making sure my node is constantly running. So I'm collaborating with a friend to work out the logistics in building a server to run it. My current challenge is figuring out where to put the equipment because where I live, the internet and power utility companies are not reliable, they go down half the time. I may have to hit up a family member and use an Amazon server in the meantime.

>I think the minimum to attend the business-related functions should be 30K LINK. So this is the floor to make it for 2019.

Hmm... I got into investing and subsequently Link at the end of September, I'm at 10K now. What would you consider a significant contribution? I've talked to friends about this in real life but they all think I'm crazy, even spoke to a friend's professor about it and he said blockchain technology is insecure.

I've thought about also bringing this up at another gaming site we all know and love but you want to keep it to /biz/. This is gonna be difficult as I made 10K my goal since I hear it's a threshold of the top 15% of the wallet holders (admittedly you do say it'll scale down later down the line).

I also want to say that I am reconsidering figuring out how to stake a node since you said that earlier node stakers have the advantage. And I really want to pick your brain (as well as others) on you guys plan to impact your communities.
