I personally have just been mining with the one 1080 ti that I have for my gaming rig, since I don't game much anymore. I thought about getting into mining last summer and making a rig with multiple cards, but it seemed super complicated and I decided to just take that money and invest in the market directly. I've tripled my investment since then (June 2017) and I remember someone told me to do just that and profit would be much greater than mining. Good luck with whether you choose to start doing it or not.
