Give it to me straight: am I fucking up by sleeping on stocks? My mom invested a lot of money right after the crash in March (?) and it has been pretty profitable for her since. She kept trying to get me to look into it but I kept putting it off because I wasn't interested in it. She's telling me that it's still a good opportunity and that I'll make money but I just can't bring myself to buy into it. It's hard to put into words, I guess I'm just not interested in investing in a long term way, and I don't trust myself enough to invest wisely, or rather, to pay attention to what's going on and know when to buy and when to sell.
