One year ago I was such a disgusting consoomer. But since the repo crisis back in September I finally started doing research about what's really going on behind the scenes.

I canceled all my fucking monthly subscriptions like Netflix/Hulu/etc. Finally created a budget spreadsheet where I track every single penny that comes out of my bank account or goes onto my credit cards. I caught quite a few subscriptions I had forgotten about that way.

My 5-year old smartphone still works great and I have absolutely no plans to replace it until it's literally on its last legs. Same for my 2011 car.

Cut out all fast food, Starbucks, etc. No more Doordash/Postmates/etc. Cook my own meals now. Losing weight too
