Kek. This post is ironic but if you live in CA you should see the adds for online sports betting.
Basically there’s two competing bills.
>prop 26
Prop 26 gives the four biggest Native American tribes in CA a monopoly and is pretty gay.
>prop 27
Prop 27 is being marketed as a bill that will tax online sports betting to solve homelessness and benefit small tribes.
But if you actually read prop 27, to offer sports betting in CA a company must already be registered in 10 other states and pay a one time fee of 100 million dollars.
And the taxes “to help homeless people” refer to the 10% tax the sportsbooks will have to pay in CA which is equal to the lowest tax they already pay in other states.
I had some lib tard roastie come up to me on the street a couple months asking if I wanted to sign this thing to tax online sportsbetting to help homelessness and I said no way.
These massive gaming companies have literally brainwashed roastie libs to campaign to get their anti competitive bill passed and it’s going to work
