is correct: It is a tiny fraction that is buying any crypto because they believe in it on a philosophical level, everyone else there is treating it like a commodity that they can speculate on, rather than a new form of money to diversify into. If you've a got a project that you truly believe in, then more power to you, I hope you alone among the crypto posters make it big. But if not, you need to be honest with yourself that you're speculating, which is little more than gambling that many people dumber than you are going to put money into your coin, so that you can sell high and extract value from them.

Had you paid attention to this particular thread, you would have seen a parallel notion in regards to the attitudes toward platinum as only worth picking up as a speculation gamble due to its historically low price in March. But you don't read threads, because that cuts into shitposting time, and reading is hard.
