Deflation is the natural healing mechanism of any economy, and it is obviously being circumvented, not just for the printed money to be spent to further entrench the system, but to keep inflation going just as you say. They give money to who they want, saving them from the fires of inflation, and let the rest burn. It's completely dysgenic and good people are slowly but surely dying out.
