Highlights from today's Federal Reserve Beige Book
>Economic activity was unchanged, on balance, since early July
>Employment rose at a modest to moderate pace in most Districts.
>Price levels remained highly elevated
>Substantial price increases were reported across all Districts, particularly for food, rent, utilities, and hospitality services.
So how did we pump so hard? Jerome already announced that the Fed is going to continue to increase rates until these trends reverse.
