Hey /biz/,

I just got a letter from the IRS stating I owe close to 3k in taxes on gains from DOGE a few years ago. I didn't make any money off DOGE, I just kept it in Robinhood and all of the "gains" I got were subsequently lost as I sit today with the same amount of money I put into.

So what am I supposed to do about this? I didn't make any money from this at all. Why is the IRS trying to fuck me on this?

It depends on if the dev team is legit.
If they're not it'll at worst be a rug and at best be a slow bleed of indefinite crabbing. If it is a scam I'm hoping for the latter.
If they're legit, then I could see this coin going up to 1 cent before the end of the month and maybe up to 10 cents before end of year. More if there's a bull market. Even though their anonymity is a red flag the potential gains if they deliver compelled me to invest a few hundred dollars. My average purchase price is $0.00044
