SOMEONE has also been thinking about this, for the purposes of building a "smart contract-killing" platform that could automatically payout upon the verified death of an individual thanks to Chainlink. The question is, "what type of information could a killer get that no one else has access to, but that everyone could verify"? The only solution I have is DNA. I know next to nothing about genetics but over the last two months I've spoken to three practicing geneticists to do a bit of digging. While most forms of DNA analysis are too expensive for the average person, there DOES exist a cheap and readily available, high-volume human genome map that is unique to individuals and costs only $20 to have analyzed. Any two results are nearly 100% for any one individual. (So smart contracts could simply say a 99.95% match or better, for example, between to results would indicate a positive match) The only question then is "how could a killer safely distribute DNA samples to have verified?" (The oracle operators participating in this business would simply send a DNA sample for processing, vote that the killer has, in fact, eliminated the target, and then they'd get a small fraction of the bounty.). I'm still working on this but SOMEONE has written up a whitepaper that explains the process from the perspective of both the Hitman and the payee. Im sure that this system will exist at some point in the future, and it would be impossible for any government to shut down. Eventually, SOMEONE will figure out the flaws (such as "how can I make sure this DNA came from a DEAD person?"). When the flaws are patched, SOMEONE will make this (but not me obviously, otherwise why would I write about this here?).

Overnight...?
Well, first thing I do is finally get around to installing Uber on my phone, and taking advantage of the $20 new user discount for a ride to the nearest bus terminal. I take the redeye down to New York City and rent the cheapest room in a boutique hotel that I can find -- probably HGU NYC @ 32 E34th St, Manhattan for $116 off-peak -- and sit quietly on the rooftop bar in the shadow of the Empire State Building while setting up my brand new (but reasonably priced) laptop & cellphone. With my old phone & computer, I transfer pretty solid amounts of cryptocurrency to a variety of absolutely offline paper wallets generated on virgin machines permanently disconnected from the internet before key generation, make trades & withdraw from my exchange accounts as much as allowed. I put half of my bank account's balance on a loan for a four year lease on a modern apartment for my girl going to school there so that she doesn't have to take the bus back & forth between Jersey & York every day, move her in and then fly off to the desert to check out prospective sites for my "Doomsday Cult." By this time, I've managed to get ordained, because my fortune is truly divine Providence, and I shall use my untaxed money to improve the world....

You can use a single Link token for quadrillions of transactions. So, couldn't you just write smart contracts that accept a nominal amount of link (say, 1e-17 Link as "payment" but that have included "outsourced" payment contracts that release penalty and assignment payments in whatever currency you agree upon as the contract settles? This means Link doesn't have to have monetary value to be useful for smart contracts, right?
