The closer the nws (northern white sand for those following the conversation) to the wellhead the better. There are actually a fucking ton of them but many of the mines are privately owned so useless for us.
I don't shill anything because I don't care what you buy. It's not my money. But fracking sand companies were popping up like dandelions in 2017-18. Stock prices soared. Now so many had to capitulate that we only have a few decent options. Anything in the Midwestern and southern US is probably a safe play. Train routes near them mean so much.

US silica is the blue chip of the industry. They are big timing so their stock prices aren't volatile enough to swing trade.
My long hold is source energy services and step energy. I don't hold much but they're going to shine.
Select sands out of Arkansas is my gamble pick. Super volatile, gains and losses up to 50% of yesterday's price. So I set buy orders for the 50 day cycle lows and wait. If it ever makes it to dollar town daddy is buying a new truck
