Every generation is smaller than the previous one in the US. They have unlimited immigration from south of the border to keep the population high and put pressure on housing prices but even that won't last much longer because all the countries south of the border are below the replacement rate.

Houses are being built all the time, boomers are dying out leaving millions of homes vacant and they can't bring enough migrants to fill them all. We will see a massive housing price fall in the US soon.
