Game theory would suggest they are planning to close the shorts legitimately. But they want to cull the herd to stop people from selling for MILLIONS.
They want to close at WORST MMTLP prices. We can hold to infinity if we chose. And they want to flood 4chan with FUD and "apes" becoming millionaires selling at $500 each.
They want to get in front of the "play" being over. Literally, this is what they want to do. Foster the notion that "MOASS" happens at $500 per share and "everyone" else but you is now a millionaire and you are missing out.

We have to believe ALL of these various lies and believe that supply/demand has no logical impact on price... or we can just accept that the systemic-naked-short position is real.
And if it is real we make millions of dollars overnight when they are forced to close. And this is not just some conspiracy hunch. GME literally did a share-dividend to shake the shorts, and the internet hivemind has been doing relentless DD and even DRSed 75% of the free float.
Shorts are so trapped.
It reminds me of a spooky youtube video I watched about people getting trapped in a cave that was filling up with water. One of the guys was so desperate to keep his head above water that he climbed up into a hole and wiggled himself so desperately into a tightening little tunnel that he likely suffocated all on his own by getting stuck and not having room to expand his chest to breath. That is the fate of leveraged shorts. The Citadel balance sheet is leveraged to the hilt and they the problem they have is the money the took out by shorting is nothing compared to what they need to close their positions. Just like any bank that has more liabilities than assets they will get shut down. But they still can't just wave a wand to shut them down. They have to literally buy back these shares from apes asking for six million dollars per share and there is no market mechanic that stops Citadel's liquidation from being "name your own price".
This is what Citadel did to themselves. They went All-In on killing a company that someone else wanted. It is a rock-paper-scissors type of scenario where RC basically does the exact opposite of what the shorts need to happen. And they are so far into the cave and the water is rising that all they can do is desperately claw themselves deeper and further into that dark, damp cold grave. There is nothing left for them to do but die. And all of the apes are sitting outside of the cave having a picnic and once the water recedes we can go in and loot.

I'm not even joking, but I have imagined MOASS would look a hell of a lot like it does today.
1: A collapse in price, this is the dip before the rip.
2: A runup in the price of gold as insiders start fleeing to safety
MOASS is literally imminent. We could be two more weeks to literally two seconds away at this point.

Reminder for those that have not been following: GameStop has created an NFT marketplace, has put language in its prospectus that implies the right to issue shares of ownership in the company AS a divisible NFT, and has mentioned in filings they may need to register as a broker dealer. The end goal is replacing not just fiat but the entire legacy technology stack used for trading securities, with all trades fully settled next-block on Ethereum L1 mainnet thanks to zkEVMs/zkRollups instead of this T+Judaism nonsense. This is the direction the FTX US partnership was intended to go, but FTX turned out to be massively short GME via fraudulent unbacked share tokens instead of being a good faith partner, so GameStop kicked them to the curb.

Wrong. Saw it all unfold with my own two eyes. Hence I am undeterred by fud, price, or time. The GME price is getting flatter on an exponential basis for longer and longer time frames. But this scenario is not possible when shares are being removed from supply via DRS. It gets flatter because the shorts can not comfortably lower the price without the real-share count being assaulted by buyers and the price can not move higher due to margin constraints.
It is going to break one way or the other and I can comfortably sit and wait forever if I have to. You are feeling the pain, not me. I'm a comfy boy.

Not a single insider has added shares at these current deep discounts.

Ask yourself why wouldn't they add shares now.

Ryan Cohen added 100,000 shares in March at split-adjusted prices from $24.20 to $27.20. Larry Cheng and Alain Attal also added shares in March at much higher prices than today.

And what has happened since March? Here is a short list:

>Became free cash flow positive in the latest quarter

>Streamlining staff and operations in an effort to be profitable very soon.

So again, why aren't insiders adding shares at these deep discounts with the company firing on all cylinders? We are combing the couch cushions and adding every dollar we can.

I speculate that the Insiders CAN'T BUY SHARES right now. Maybe it's the SEC/DOJ investigation that has been ongoing. Perhaps, it's the DTCC with a secret chill placed on our beloved stock based on the tokenized stock likely used as locates.

Whatever the reason, Insiders not buying right now is extremely bullish to me. Because they should be adding (just like we are doing).

Not only do we have GME to be excited about with RC as CEO. But we also have a looming M&A potential. There is also $100M worth of funds set aside for a potential share buyback. There is also MOASS.
I remind people daily on this: A market crash is not some magical phenomena. It is a cascade of selling which leads to a precipitous drop in price. GME is already systemic-naked-sold-short so they actually can't get sold off in a market crash. We are buying in to a 100% guaranteed cascade of market BUYING once the shorts capitulate. A market crash can happen tp BTC, TSLA, AMZN, GOOG etc. It is impossible to happen to GME as the price is so low due to the systemic naked short position.

Why do I call it systemic-naked-short? Because this is not just a short-trade. This is the vehicle used by Citadel to leverage up their longs. They sell GME for cash and then went long FAANG stocks. The intent was to never sell, hoping it would die. But that is 1000% never going to happen now. The company is going to revamp into a better business model with stronger business connections with their partners.
The next 2008-style market crash will be ushered in on a cascade of short covering. We literally have nothing to fear other than finding out what to do with all of the MONEY we will make.
This is why the seethies want us focused on other things that are green. They know they're about to get blown the fuck out and the back-offices are red-in-the-face seething that they sold wwaaaaaaay too many shares of GME they can not make good on.
They misused leverage and are problably dangerously close to implosion which will knock out the ENTIRE derivatives market only to be saved by unbridled levels of fed printing.

Shorts will capitulate eventually. And none of the other financial issues unfolding are going to help the situation either.
The hedgies are swimming naked and the DTCC itself is at risk because they allowed too many locates. They can only hedge away the exposure but they can NEVER increase the price of the stock that will be bought back for self admitted infinity dollars.
The tighter the crab shows me one thing: The hedged total return swap has been wrung out for all of the profit possible. They can't drop it any lower and once the price goes higher the zombie-hedgie's lifeline will dry up.

It's all plain as day and my time preference is a hell of a lot longer than your ability to stay afloat.
Luckily with my newly found trading strategy, I actually have a great system to profit from GME while I wait. So I am extra comfy. I'm like a man who has travelled through time with the winning lottery ticket numbers for some mystery date in the future. All I have to do is play the numbers every week and I win. I only need to balance my checkbook until that time. I do not need to plan for my retirement, but plan for an implosion by buying precious metals incase the problem is impossible to resolve.
