NAK's Pebble sits between discovery and strategic investment, as the company was trying to get developmental approval when Pebble (in its current form) was shit canned by the US government. NAK is appealing but I dont see how they can get a solid approval in the projects current state, it needs some major changes before it gets approval, and that may never happen now that environmental groups are moving into convert the area to protected status. That would come back to bite the US in the long run locking up a massive US statistic resource for good but NAKs handling of the project brought this about and now they have to live with it.

I am sorry mate but if Northern Dynasty cant figure out a better mine plan so that its not such an environmental headache I dont see the project moving forwards. I ve not seen so much hate for a mining project in a very long time. If your interested in a good near term miner look at Ascot Resources and their Premier Mine near Stewart BC.
