Not trying to fud but I have a serious concern with Chainlink. Chainlink has been on Ropsten for a month and everyone was expecting all these potential partners to test on the test net. The team even told people to keep an eye on Ropsten to see the customers using the network. Well for 3 weeks the only transactions on Ropsten have been regular peeps taking the 100 Ropsten link from the faucet. There has been absolutely no requests for data. In fact, someone asked Thomas why and then Thomas made a run to show it works. Well I see Thomas's request for data but it is the only one.

Why is there no testing on Ropsten? Where are all these customers/partners/devs that are supposed to be drooling at the potential of Chainlink? I know the lack of communication, lack of updates from Sergey, lack of social media presence, increasing competition from large players are all red flags but this may be the largest.

Does anyone actually want to use Chainlink?

Sergey (PBUH) delivers, what price does this piece of shit go to?

Alright /biz/ I realize there has been a lot of fud recently, some of it nonsensical, like the ridiculous idea of a shadow fork, and other posters just generally making up fud as they go. This place is one of the very few that has caught wind of this project, and has put money into it. I am going to set the record straight on where this project is, and where it is going or not going. To maybe help you decide if your money is safe in chain link, or if you should seek NEW investment opportunities, and wait for similar projects to pop up in the near future.

A little background on myself so maybe it will lend some credit to the information I am providing. I have been in contact with POTENTIAL partnerships with smart contracts and the use of decentralized oracles, companies looking to use this along with SWIFT. I, working with a particular company that also deals with transactions, examined the practical usage of smart contracts within the companies network as well as reviewed the whitepaper and talked to some representatives of the project themselves. I do not know whether I was speaking to Sergey himself, just that it was someone with knowledge on the project. This is all very recent dealings and discussions, within the past 2 weeks.

First, the project is in a stasis, essentially not moving forward. This is to a few issues from what I discussed with their representatives. Personal issues were cited along with funding and hiring issues for further development. What this means to the company I work with, is unwillingness to enter partnership with a project they believe is not progressing forward, and has too small of a development team in place. There is absolutely no further discussions planned with the chain link project from the companies end.

Chainlink offers smart contracts whatever the fuck that means. An Oracle? and its being supported by banks or some shit. Can someone explained this to me? I keep digging and digging but the whole just gets deeper. Is it a platform? a coin? what is it?

I think the most important thing to take from AssBlaster's posts is the part about LINK being "anti-hype". Allow me to give a quick rundown, however I am in no means a technological genius nor do I completely understand the code behind chainlink:

Soon after this, Sergey and the team basically went silent. Very little public outreach. Rory even stated that they have been in talks with larger players and are not worried about talking to us at this time. This lines up perfectly with what AssBlaster claimed in this post/picture:


So we don't know if AssBlaster is real, but we do know that what he said does make a lot of sense logically. AssBlaster said multiple times that it is an absolute miracle that we stumbled upon this gem. He then goes on to say that LINK is going to be used by the big boys and they want to keep it quiet. Again, this is backed up by Rory saying they are not worried about twitter communication, but instead worried about large partnerships.

A dude named "Creatine" posted in the Chainlink Slack chat and said he was working for a large insurance company and wanted to get involved. Obviously we gave it a quick search and found that this guy was located in Brussels. The guy also had a very strikingly similar appearance to a censored face picture that AssBlaster posted of himself. AssBlaster said he was in the Brussels area at the time but I believe he said he lived in England. Not sure entirely. However, a few days after, this was released:
