It's been a long time since /biz/ was conceded to the gibbering retards whose job, or hobby, it is to fud Chainlink (both are equally pathetic and subhuman).
But I know there are a lot of OG linkies out there and I do have a permanent and warm sense of gratitude and bond to the other autists who breadcrumbed, memed and shitposted with me in the early days.
If you're despairing about the loss of that vibe, then I will say just wait until we have zk/DECO gated spaces to talk. When you need 1k LINK to be in the chat and you can prove that without revealing any other information.
When that time comes, in the next couple of years, we'll be able to reconvene in a semi-private space. We will have lots of resources at that point. I personally am already working on an app-layer crypto product that I think is extremely exciting, and I'll be glad to bounce off, collaborate and organize with other OG linkies once we have a space to ourselves again. I will absolutely preference my old frens in terms of opportunities, because I will be forever grateful to anon for our shared work in figuring this crazy shit out. I trust the judgment of the OG anons, because I know the level of conviction it takes to hold for as long as we have.
It's only a matter of time, bros, it will be very sweet when it happens. The retards can have this board all to themselves.

Imagine if everyone is opening burger stores. And chainlink provides drink machines, ice cream machines, etc.
Chainlink says "hey if you want to just have all our machines that's fine, it will save you tons of time and money because ours are all ready to go, but we just want a couple of % of your burger profits".
And all the hundreds of new burger stores take the deal and pay a couple of percent to Chainlink each.
And all of those different little bits of burger money get paid to people who are staking LINK.

I thought the whole 'LINK crabs in the bull market' was a meme but this piece of garbage is literally the worst performing coin in this bullrun
Fuck you /biz/, now I see LINK was shilled as a meme to keep money from flowing into actually good coins like DOT and BNB

Hi /biz/, first subreddit post I've made here in a while. I was watching some crackhead russian youtube channel and saw one of their videos about solar panels in which they made a solar setup for their entire house, by using damaged solar cells (e.g. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/B-grade-Solar-Cells-broken-solar_60520072946.html).). Although it seems retarded, it made me wonder whether or not it would be viable to make money from these, especially if you used the electricity to mine bitcoin. Furthermore, I'm sure you could buy scuffed bitcoin miners on alibaba too, i remember reading about them being sold by the kilogram in china a while ago. I also found this blog which has interesting information:
http://www.altenergy.org/renewables/solar/DIY/free-solar-panels.html

What'd you think?

I don't really know what people are expecting from Web3, to be honest. I think Sergey's talk will be mostly about how they are growing out the number of trusted nodes, but it doesn't really seem like there's any other major news to report. Anything SWIFT related would happen at SIBOS, which pretty much just leaves Microsoft and ETH2.0.
I think a default ETH2.0 integration is really unlikely, because it doesn't strike me as ETH's style to dedicate functionality to a single project this early and undermine the competitiveness of the oracle space. So that really just leaves Microsoft, which Sergey has already confirmed and at best will just namedrop again. But he's not the type to drop partnership news, well, ever, so Web3 would be a super weird place for him to make a big deal about cryptlets when he already mentioned it in his last talk.
Is there something I'm missing? I know last Web3 was big, and the only thing that I consider bullish is that it's a dev audience, and that's Sergey's favourite audience to drop news on, but I can't actually think of anything majorly significant at this stage of development that would logically come out during Web3.
