I honestly do not understand crypto at all. From my understanding, it's not actually used for anything and is essentially gambling with other people over whose special digital token is more expensive. I threw £150 at a coin shilled here back in Jan, went up to £700, then down to £300 and seems to be rugging hard whilst people scream at each other to not sell in the various threads.

At least with PMs I've got a tangible asset I can hold and see, unlikely to tank in price as it's been used for millennia and I don't have to worry about clicking some link or some exchange turning out to be a scam.

Can't wait for my sovereigns to turn up.
