Because its a shit coin, it was innovative in 2014 and a key component in the development of cryptocurrency, but in 2019 it just cannot compete. You have to remember ethereum isnt bitcoin, it isnt a store of value and theres no guarantee it will retain value indefinitely especially when all its value came from the utility it provided, utility it cannot sustain....
