So Canadian weed legalization bill just passed. The bill's progress:

>House of Commons initial vote PASSED 2017
>Senate third reading with amendments attached PASSED 2018
>House of Commons vote to accept bill with some but not all senate amendments accepted back to senate (13 amendments rejected total). PASSED
>Senate vote to accept the amendment rejections from the HoC PASSED

It's over. The last step is a formality and amounts to the signature of figurehead Governor General. Recreational sales will commence late summer. There is no longer any risk left in so far as whether or not that will happen.
