Everyone is trying to panic but I know what will happen if I just hold my investments. A couple years of buying cheapies before it comes back, 4 if it's a Great Depression.

Save your money up in a low-cost fund and then make a large move when you have enough together. I usually just do 1k and then forget about what I bought until I focus on it again months later and find it's grown a nice amount so I keep leaving it alone.

It helps if you have a proper broker that has transaction costs so your stupidity has immediate costs.
