Maybe some of you here can help me understand this more.

Currently there exists an idea that there is an existential threat to
BTC in the form of BSV. Meaning that there is a possability, at some point in the future, that miners could eventually switch from mining BTC to BSV.

I want to discuss, what factors could influence this event. There are certain mechanisms generally speaking that could effect this shift, including:
- Miner profitability
- demand for on chain services
- demand of microtransactions

These things may very well have an effect however I still remain skeptical that it could result in what SV'ers claim would lead to "Hyper-Bitcoinization". I am fully open to the concept however was wondering if anyone had a more nuanced view?

I don't hold any BSV, however I am open to the idea of putting 5% of my portfolio to hedge against short tail risk.
