Would you pay 5% of your add revenues generated through me ?

I have quite a lot of experience with partnerships/affiliation and advertising and I am thinking of creating my own company.

Registration would be free, you tell me what you want, I negociate the best deals for you (since comission based) and you take them or not, but if you do I get a percentage.

The only problem I got is that I don't want to be shortcircuited. My prospect can just seal the deal whithout me when he knows the company. Is it okey if the money goes through me ? I think that would sound scammy to advertisers so I am not fond of it...
