Welp, thread got archived at speed of light and apparently I can't find the wallstreetbet plebbit anymore. So question:

Like many I only discovered /biz/ through that whole GME thing. I got a very basic understanding of stocks, and this whole situation makes me confused.

1. If the hardcore "HOLD" guys wanted to mess with Hedgies, and the later wanted to "bet on a loss of value" of GME, assuming the situation stabilizes, haven't they succeeded somewhat? It is still about 6x what it was back in mid January.

2. How is the displayed price set and how do I know how much of a stock exactly I can get at this price? Could a couple of hedgies set their price artificially low and trade among each other to create the illusion of a dip, hiding that the next purchase would still be at 300$ per share?

3. What led to the momentum? Is there just a pattern lazy Hedgies follow that made Gamestop such an honeypot for them?

4. If so, has the lockdown through pressure applied to the company created such a tempting honeypot for hedgies?
