This God-tier FUD is Making a kid Shill Chainlink by means of autistic screeching only to reveal after that it was paid FUD and that instantly translates to a Singularity-Tier reverse Shilling.

>The partnership, which involves the standards sub-group the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA), is both significant and a major step forward. As readers of Artificial Lawyer will know, Accord and its members, especially smart contract pioneers, Clause, have been working hard on a global basis to create rules and standards for the use of smart contracts.

>Their logic is that there is little use creating smart contracts if there are no standards for their use, just as there would be little use in every bank in every town issuing a separate currency for commerce, for example, or every city launching its own system of weights and measures for trade.

>What any system that will be used as part of the global trading infrastructure and our economic fabric will need is a set of standards, rules and protocols that key players buy into and trust.

I'll laugh, because it will literally expand the use-case of LINK
>>7906508
this is a big deal
is he basically saying they're connecting the fucking legacy world and decentralized ledger world, thus once the off-chain resources are represented on-chain, they can be reused:
>off-chain resources: secure data inputs
>on-chain contract: data is now on-chain, and can be used in a multitude of smart-contracts
Basically massive economies of scale when this shit goes online?
I'm a bit of a brainlet, so correct me if I'm wrong

Not only stablecoins. LINK is the shovel in the middle of multiple goldrushes:
https://www.reddit.com/r/LINKTrader/comments/7pqo5t/anyone_know_if_link_is_involved_in_the_europes/dsjn7vh/
>As you can tell, I am bullish about ChainLink. Often in crypto, the old saying about how the guy selling shovels in a gold rush is the one to get rich. Well, I believe PSD2 is another gold rush and ChainLink is the first in the door selling the shovels, the diggers, and the whole wash plant.

Here's the thing, not only is ChainLink the shovels etc., there are MULTIPLE gold-rushes happening at the same time here. PSD2, legacy systems rushing to use smart-contract tech, stablecoins, reliable external data inputs; there are more but you get the idea.
And link is the shovel for all of them, the middleware. And it doesn't even need to capitalize on all of these gold-rushes. If it establishes itself in one of these markets, the network will grow to take over adjacent markets.
LINK is going to be the biggest shocked in the crypto-space to date.
