And I do too, but the Leary shit sucks hard, but we're perhaps past that era with the likes Michael Pollan and Sam Harris. Say what you will about them but they're at least calm and don't become total schizos like Leary when talking about psychedelics.

Substances to cope with reality yes, substances that confront reality I don't see a problem with, if it's every few months or years. The fact that you have an addictive personality is your own issue though, and doesn't apply to a lot of other people.
