I see it like a chernobyl futuristic area... Where anything can happen.
It's a place for "test" things, and not theorize things, It should be a kind of test net, but people are actually liking Kusama network and envolving real money on it... Use the Polkadot network and you will like it a lot, it's very fast and solve all the ethereum problems.
PLUS = Ethereum founder is the core developer
PLUS2 = Kusama is the lowcap with the most dev activity in crypto space.

Just do some research and you will get mad.
And the word "decentralized" is a real thing, you can see how much the founders/dev have in their wallets also.
