Rolling for Black Tuesday losses

I'm in talks with a company about working as a independant contractor for them, they want me to name a sum of what I would charge for each project. I'm doing this for the first time and I have no idea what I should ask for. Can someone help me please?

The work is basically coloring textures. Each project contains of variations of a texture, work time is 1 - 2 days each.

2 days with 8 hours of work each would suffice most of the time. Since they asked me to name a number per project and not per hour I would need to go and "estimate" how much my work is worth and time that by 16 and name it to them.

If I tell them that I would charge 240€ per work day or 480€ per project (which would be 30€ gross per hour) I'm afraid that the number might look too big and they go and hire an indian instead

So... Can someone help me please? I have nothing to offer outside of good karma
