This, honestly get an old civic with a d-series engine and fix it yourself, always follow the service schedule if not service early (can benefit from a 6,000mile service schedule actually) and it'll keep running forever. I've now join the Volvo clan though, which is obviously the other end of forever cars. Currently replacing the exhaust, done the cat back, then immediately after the old downpipe blew it's shit and now has a beans tin round it until I fit the replacement (which cost the grand total of £24).
