I just got a new job in pharma. Pays 80k, benefits, probably not likely to get laid off that quickly. It's still fucking waging, just with more brainpower. I'm just a complex, higher-power computing machine in the monstrosity of big pharma. No fulfillment, uninteresting work, tight deadlines, expected to work 45-50 hours/week. Both managers above me are quitting because their jobs suck and they are forced to work insane hours. There's nothing better above this point. I want to fucking go into the woods and work any fucking job, at least I'll have more of a life and more time than this shit.
