I did about that and bought an 8k BMW (320SI, exactly the same as pic related), loved every second of it but you're pretty limited with that budget. Also take care of that gas cost, mine absolutely shreds gasoline (12 litres/100kmph) especially when driving. The car isn't really expensive, the gasoline, insurance, parking costs, maintenance is. So add at least a couple of thousand per year to the cost of driving it. Also exactly the same with the appartment. If you'll need to buy your own food, entertainment for a couple of years to come I don't think it's wise to buy a car like that. But I don't think I have ever been so happy with any material thing in my life than driving it, so if you really really want it go ahead. What bimmer were you looking for?

Nope, I'm so white I reflect sunlight. Why? I don't buy cars that I can't pay in one take, and have loads and loads of fun with it. It's not even expensive. What's your drive?

According to biz, if you have 200K, how much should your car be worth? If you buy a 15K car, drive it for 2 years and sell it off for 8K, how is that a """horrible" money waster? Do you know how much enjoyment a nice car gives when you drive more than an hour a day?

Nice car man, I'm pretty jealous. I drive a 320si myself, only costed me 1 btc that I bought for 85euro back in the days, so basically it cost me 8k eur in unrealised gains (probably less since no taxes). Gasoline is a bitch though, I probably spend 50-100eur a week on fuel. Sounds amazing though. Lot's of fun for only 8k
