Images like this seem to help, but this one is specific to gold. Using the gold:silver ratio can be helpful as well, but you have to pick your audience. I believe you either have the "dragon's eye" for PMs, or you don't. Cite examples of real inflation (cars, houses) and how gold:silver ratio was 12:1 or that it's about 18:1 for what's actually it the Earth itself. We're at 65:1 now. The bull thesis for silver as a critical industrial component is also another good argument aside from the fact that it's been used as real wealth for all of human history.
