This is the best thing the US government has done in recent years. Bitfinex manipulators print fake dollars that they use to get BTC for free. Let me repeat that: They get billions of dollars worth of BTC for FREE. While normal people pay for Bitcoin with real money from their wages and lifesavings. Then they pump that fake cash in other crypto assets, inflating it and causing fake bull runs.

They are anti crypto and must be culled like cattle. Then the real organic growth can start when Tether is buried and their founders are all in jail serving life terms.

The NY AG has two lawsuits against them, and they stalled for years until the Jan 15th deadline. Then they decided to spam her with 2.5 million documents confirming they're a scam. There's also a STABLE coin act coming that will regulate stablecoins and require bank licenses, cash backing for every dollar, and audits.
