i know but i always struggle with the risk management. not the understanding of risk management, i've gone through all sorts of possible iterations of it with ratios and scaling out and DCA'ing and whatnot. the main thing for me is just understanding how you can ever truly know when to cut your losses, when to take profits, and when you should literally just hodl and walk away for the long term. or when is something a dip and a great zone to buy in vs. when is something well and truly fucked? (BABA for example, which i avoided because it dumped on FA news with xinnie specifically targeting them, but even they are starting to recover now off of the bottom of the keltner channel finally) (although who knows if it will break through the 200 or bounce off of it again).

maybe i just need to trust in the TA as long as im sticking with blue chips and watching out for black swan events like 2008 or covid which are incredibly rare to begin with. but there's always the potential for some shit like INTC to happen to you where it just teleports down overnight and fucks you and never recovers
