I'm a CFA and work in a big bank on Bay Street. I came 10y ago to Canada. I have no desire to make any friends. All I want in life is to make a lot of money and to travel and meet locals using tinder and fuck them.
Everytime I've been out with dudes I feel extremely bored and depleted and after a while I just start making fun of them up to the point that I'm almost insulting and then I just stop answering their messages and move on. These was years ago. No I don't bother anymore to try. It's just a waste of time.
The only person I consider my friend and actually like to hang out with is back in my home country. I like him because like me he just cares about banter and fuck bitches. We don't try to one up each other at every turn and we both appreciate moments of silence when there's nothing to say in the moment. There's no ego in our friendship.
