novice investor here, went in with 2.5% portfolio value in december and got close to a kilo of gold in various sizes, all bars as there's no advantage to coins where I live, not CGT exempt.

do any of you boomers have any do's/don'ts for new people in gold? I still have about a kg more to acquire, here's a britannia that came into today, the coolest thing the UK has produced, and will ever produce.
also, if coinbro with the kalmar coin is in here, i'd love to know how much he bought it for.

My new Britannia just arrived, it's so beautiful. I never thought I'd admire anything made my the British, but I simply couldn't resist getting this one. I also just ordered two different Credit Suisse bars cause I find their lore fucking hilarious.

I started getting into gold stacking back in December and I clearly prefer bars, mainly cause they have serial numbers.

Anyone who has some advice for a fairly novice gold investor? I'm looking to keep it at around 5-7% of my portfolio. I'm well over half a kilo now.
