What Ackman is saying is that in light of SIVB failure, uninsured deposits (less than $250k) will be withdrawn from smaller, regional banks, resulting in liquidity issues for those banks. Those funds will be concentrated at the big banks (JPM, C, BAC) and also put into ST UST. That in turn will drive the short end of the curve lower, directly in conflict with what the Fed is trying to achieve in raising rates. Hence systemic risk.


Yeah I was probably wrong. This probably the big one before the next bigger one which is the yield curve inversion.
