Bro you're not obligated to tell them shit. In fact, there are laws obligating the debt collector to be honest with you from the onset but until you've unequivocally proven he's legitimate you can actually lie your ass off to him. And theres really fuckall he can do about it.

Tell him you're dead. Be like "oh that was my roommate. He huffed feelium. I think he's buried in Akron."

Pic related.
Fuck with debt collectors and have fun.

OP I remember your anecdote from a previous thread about a week ago.

I think your letter is too many words. And I think you should retain the source files .. fuck that guy.

Here. Enjoy this correspondence between me and an auto insurer I ended business with.
:)

Exit interviews.

I'm one of three developers left on a mission critical project that previously had nine developers assigned to it. We're dangerously in yellow/red status with everyone working overtime. I've been working this way for eleven months.

I haven't had a 100% work free weekend in six months and haven't had a title change in two years. Management treats developers like shit and the entire office is demoralizing. The bathrooms are disgusting, the nearest food vendors are disgusting and every chair is rickety and has holes in it.

I'm interviewing for a job closer to home with a title change/boost, a 20% salary increase and a 10 minute commute as opposed to a 70 minute one. I'm very confident I'll get the job, leaving the project in the lurch.

My employer is a subsidiary of IBM. IBM corporate will likely be conducting my exit interview, as this is the company standard.

If I'm brutally honest, I risk losing good work recommendations for future work.

If I lie and say "oh the job was great I just pursued a new opportunity" then bad demoralizing behavior continues.

How does /biz/ approach exit interviews. Are you candid and honest or is it more like a break up? ("its not you its me")

Pic of me shit talking a debt collector unrelated but damn funny.

Their lawyers charge probably hundreds an hour, even if you take an hour of their time when they write and talk to you, their already in the negative
