I spend literally all of my income after rent and food on stacking. After a while it just comes naturally, why would you spend on disposable goods rather than physical assets ever, if you can avoid it?

After a while it almost becomes painful to buy little luxuries when you realize “that $10 could have been a Kennedy half-dollar” or “that $25 could have been an ASE”. “That $300 at the end of the month could have been a 1/10 of gold.”

After a while, you will likely become as obsessive about saving as you once may have been a hopeless spendthrift. There’s probably such a thing as taking this too far, but it’s still surely better than the opposite extreme.
