I have tried it all. You know what worked best? Selecting a combination of gizmos and widgets that I put on the chart. I looked at these things on historical charts and gauged how they did in relation to the price action that followed. I adjusted their parameters. I still don't know precisely how each calculates what they calculate. All I know is how they line up to the price action. I did this on the indexes because they are more predictable and less prone to freak outs due to earns or news. News that causes an index to freak out to the tune of major swing in one day before I have a chance to adjust is very rare black swan type deal. That's all. Also it's counterproductive to this strategy to take in to account news. You should ignore news. Ignore opinion, including your own. Now add leverage.
