The Oz makes sense for playing with, but fractions are OK depending on what you pay for them,
Just keep in mind that at the same weight gold is only half the volume of silver .. so things end up rather small in comparison if you are already used to silver.
e.g. the 2 oz gold of this one is exactly the size of the 1 oz silver coin.
