Peak Americano' Westoid cooking. Mother used to do the same thing. Except, she just threw chicken breasts and thighs into a slow cooker with 2 basil leaves and tap water, and expected that to be "acceptable". Or vegan frozen TV dinners. Funny enough, it was my mother's complete inability to cook that made me want to learn to cook. Just so I could eat something not boiled in tap water in a crock pot. Literally asked her to add seasoning and she acts like she never heard of it or thought of it.
